After acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University and spending 15+ years in the hospitality and tourism industry, Suzanne felt led by God to make a life change and quit her job as Director of the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau. Soon after, she found herself serving as the Minister of Youth and Children at a church in Circleville, OH. This position motivated Suzanne to enroll in Bethel Seminary’s InMinistry distance learning program where she received a Master of Arts in Children and Family Ministry. Through two separate but interconnected experiences at Bethel Seminary, God showed Suzanne that His purpose for this time in her life is to help connect, train, and engage people to serve in their own personal passions and calling (Ephesians 4:11-13). Suzanne now feels blessed to be living out this calling in her role as the Coordinator of Volunteer Ministries here at Ashland First United Methodist Church which she began in September of 2007. Suzanne and her husband, Jeff, moved to Ashland in July of 2006. They have two children, one son, and one daughter.
